What’s so implicit about the implicit maze huh

Aren’t all the guilds running the maze, and consciously so?

Should I be reading the novellas?

Some of my favorite tempo cards. My current legacy deck is built around them. Jace the Mind Sculptor with the Lorescale Coatl is awesome since the snake gets 4 +1/+1 counters every turn.

All the recent Simic spoilers made me think of these. They’re so awesome!

Two art extensions I did for a friend instead of writing my lab report. I wonder if I could start selling these?

Another basic Forest. Yikes was this one hard—I got a new set of paints at the recommendation of mtgalteredstudio, and they’re much thinner and somewhat more challenging to work with, but really worth it in the end. Probably the hardest part was getting enough paint on there to cover up the set symbol.

Here’s an okay Island. Stars are not easy to paint. They need to be much smaller, and much more numerous. It got really really warped, too, since I used so much paint D;

Spent a lot of time on this one! Or at least more than the other two. I like it a lot and it’s going in my EDH deck immediately!
This one really made me appreciate how important the composition of the alter is to make the extension seem natural, and just how good the original painting is. One of my favorites out of Shards of Alara, for sure.

Second basic land alter. Went somewhat better than the last one, but there’s still so much to learn. Like form.

Just finished my first MTG alter! Hopefully they’ll improve as I make more and remember how to actually blend colors :S
Starting on basic lands because they’re a dime a dozen. Maybe eventually I’ll start altering spell cards. Makes me wonder why I didn’t keep painting after high school.
I think full-art cards look better with a frame. Don’t you?

I just want everyone to appreciate the relevance of Bioshift as a combat trick when Corpsejack Menace is on the battlefield!

Let’s talk about my favorite kind of creature in MTG: snakes.

They’re slippery, the make great combat tricks, they completely knock over the opponent’s tempo, and the fit into my favorite color combo: blue-green!

There are some great cards in Gatecrash for a tempo deck. Mystic Genesis is an autopick, Prime Speaker Zegana makes a nice bomb, and Simic Charm is pretty much all you could ever want in a tempo deck. Snakes are the last piece of the puzzle!

All I need are a couple Primordial Hydras and some Temporal Springs…
